I bet you didn't know that I was an Olympic sprinter 100 years ago! The topmost picture captures me running the 100m dash in the 1920 Olympics. Charles Paddock (the second rightmost man in the picture) won this exhilarating dash for glory, but at least I was close to getting on the podium!
The topmost picture was created in Adobe Photoshop for my IMS 259 (Art & Digital Tools) class, and the bottom picture is a sampler showing the photos I used to create the final picture. I made extensive use of the Brush, Dodge and Burn tools to re-shadow myself for the original Olympics photo, and I also used the Smudge and Motion Blur tools/filters to convey my breathtaking speed in the final picture.
